A little bit about who I am:
My name is Katy, I am a Registered Veterinary Nurse and I currently work at Goddard Veterinary practice in Kingston. Most of the client's that come to the practice will know who I am as I have been there since 2007 and I hope to create a relaxed atmosphere for all the anxious owners who come to see the vet with their pets.
Previously I worked at Henderson Keywood in Surbiton. So clients may remember me from there -as I worked there from 2001.
I am known as the resident cat person and I have previously volunteered at Battersea dog and cats hom
e with the new cats who came in to the centre. I socialised and assessed them, so I am use to a wide variety of cats and their behaviours.
I have always had my own cat-and always have rescue cats. My cat is called Charlie(see picture) and is a great character-and yes he needs lots of grooming! He also loves to play and I always find the time to play with him for at least 20 minutes each day. I think it is important for cats to retain their playful natures even as they get older.
As you can tell....I am a cat person and always think about the cats needs, that is why I set this business up. I often have people coming into the surgery asking if I know anyone who would look after their pets (who are a huge part of the family) while they are away.
